Visi namuose turime nereikalingų daiktų. Kai kurie iš jų nebedera prie atnaujinto būsto arba tampa nebeaktualūs pasikeitus gyvenimo aplinkybėms. Daiktai nebetinka, nes juos išaugame fiziškai (drabužiai, avalynė), o kartais – ir morališkai. Dalį nepatinkančių daiktų gauname dovanų, o kitus nemielus į namus atsitempiame patys: spontaniškai įsigyjame esant blogai nuotaikai arba perkame dėl geros akcijos ir įtaigaus pardavėjo pagyrų. Dėl šių ir kitų priežasčių visi turime bent keletą daiktų, kurių mums nereikia. Su dalimi jų pavyksta atsisveikinti iš karto, bet būna tokių, kurie guli namuose nenaudojami metų metus, ir ranka juos kažkam parduoti ar atiduoti vis dar nekyla. Daikto paskirtis – būti naudojamam, tad jei jo nenaudojat jūs, gal naudos kažkas kitas?
Šiuo tekstu kviečiu išsilaisvinti nuo nereikalingų daiktų – išsiųsti juos į naują kelionę pasinaudojant daiktų mainų grupėmis. Papasakosiu, kaip daiktais mainiausi pati ir patarsiu, nuo ko pradėti, jei to dar nebandėte.
Niekada nelaikiau savęs daiktų kaupike, tačiau perskaičiusi Marie Condo knygą „Tvarkingų namų stebuklas“ supratau, kad nereikalingų daiktų yra visuose namuose ir maniškiai – ne išimtis. Skaitydama minėtą knygą su dalimi daiktų entuziastingai atsisveikinau iš karto, tačiau kai kuriuos daiktus įsikibusi laikiau dar keletą metų po knygos perskaitymo.
Vienas iš pavyzdžių – ledainės. Jas pirkau prieš 6-erius metus savo gimtadienio proga. Tuo metu atrodė, kad tai vienas atributų kuriuos jaunajai šeimininkei būtina turėti savo namuose. Pradžioje iš entuziazmo ledaines naudojau, vėliau jos nugulė į sekciją ir buvo judinamos tik retomis progomis, praktiškai – tik valant dulkes. Atsikrausčius į naujus namus jos gulėjo atskiroje dežėje prie kitų, mažai naudojamų daiktų. Galiausiai po metų paėmusi tą dėžę supratau, kad ledainės man vis dar neaktualios, tad jas išsimainiau. Mainai įvyko greitai – naujoji daiktų šeimininkė prisipažino, kad apie jas svajojo jau seniai, nes šeima dažnai perka didesnes ledų pakuotes, o vaikai – tikri ledų gerbėjai. Išlydėjusi savo ledaines pagalvojau – kodėl aš jų kam nors nepadovanojau anksčiau? Juk buvo taip paprasta!
Per daiktų mainų grupes pavyko išsimainyti ir daugiau man neaktualių daiktų, o mainais gauti man reikalingų. Štai mano mėgstamiausių ir aktualiausių išsimainytų daiktų trejetukas: jogos kilimėlis, lėkštės, loveliai.
Vis dėlto, jei turite nenaudojamų daiktų, bet jokių naujų mainais gauti nenorite, galimi ir kitokie mainai. Dalį man nereikalingų daiktų mainiau į gėrybes – daržoves, medų, arbatas ar pan. – tai, ko žmonės tuo metu turėjo ir pasiūlė mainais. Esu daiktus mainiusi ir į šokoladą ar vaisius iš parduotuvės. Pavyzdžiui, 2019 m. žiemą puikias, bet morališkai pabodusias sukneles bei sijonus mainiau į apelsinus – ir skanu, ir sveika. Džiaugiausi, kad daiktai gyvena tolimesnį gyvenimą, o aš mainais gavau produktus, kuriuos galiu suvartoti nekaupdama naujų daiktų.
Mainų rezultatas – vaisiai ir (staigmena!) daugkartiniai maišeliai, kuriuos pasiuvo pati „mainų draugė“
Atradusi daiktų mainų galimybę spirgėjau ir su draugėmis dalinausi savo sėkmingų mainų istorijomis. Po kurio laiko pastebėjau, kad daiktų mainai kartais neįvyksta kai paaiškėja, kad gyvenu viename iš miegamųjų Vilniaus rajonų (Pilaitėje), todėl sukūriau Facebook grupę Daiktų mainai Pilaitėje, kad mainytis daiktais būtų greičiau ir paprasčiau. Toje grupėje „sutikau“ ir savo kaimynę, kuri grupėje mainams siūlė savo jogos kilimėlį (čia tą, kuris mano mėgstamiausių mainytų daiktų top 3-tuke). Džiaugiausi įvykusiais kilimėlio-uogų mainais ir juokiausi, kad greičiausiai realybėje, gyvo pokalbio metu, tokių mainų nebūtume sugalvoję. Taigi jei nenorite dėl daiktų mainų važinėti po visą miestą galite apsibrėžti, kokiuose rajonuose mainai jums tiktų ir gal net sukurti mainų grupę mažesnei bendruomenei.
Zero waste mainų pradžiamokslis
Tikiuosi, kad paskaičius mano patirtį ir į jūsų galvą atėjo minčių, kuriuos daiktus jau norėtumėte perleisti kitiems. - Ar noriu mainytis ir su kitų miestų gyventojais, pvz. apsimainant daiktais paštomatu?
- Kiek laiko daiktą laikysiu mainų grupėje? Ar norėsiu skelbimą atnaujinti ir bandyti mainus dar kartą?
